Welcome to Android Central! You accidentally booted into Download Mode (aka Odin Mode), which is where you can transfer a firmware file from your computer to the phone via USB in order to manually install a new OS version. It's typically reached by pressing and holding Power, Home, and Volume Down together.

As long as you're not actively transferring a file via USB, you can safely power down. Press and hold Power and Vol Down for about 10-15 seconds to force a shutdown, or pull the battery. Then power back on normally.
