Hey guys.
I have GSAM Battery Monitor installed and noticed something with WiFi and Device Sleep (or Stay Awake for that matter)
With WiFi disabled, I noticed the device falls asleep within seconds as intended, which is what I want; however, with WiFi enabled, it takes minutes to enter Deep Sleep.
That may not seem like a big deal, but it sorta is when you look at the grand scheme. If I receive one text every few minutes, that means my device never falls into a deep sleep state because WiFi is keeping it awake.
I thought WiFi was supposed to enhance battery life, not eat it up. Is this some sort of bug? Can anyone else replicate this issue?
I already did an FDR (by mistake since now you don't get a warning if you hit yes to FDR)
I already did a Cache Clear and all other housekeeping.
