    I m using Sm N910T and I m on the stock marshmallow rom 6.0.1 N910TUVS2EPG2

I m really sick of this update

I have this issue of severe battery drain by two main culprits at Number one it's MEDIA
and number two is ANDROID SYSTEM. I have already cleared cache using recovery and cleared data in settings. Have checked most of my pics and videos. My battery won't last more then 4 hrs. I have disabled most of the bloat apps and quite a bit of Samsung apps. Sync is @ manual

Android system cpu usage after a whole day typically is around 6 hrs

Media cpu usage usually is around 5.30hrs

Searched through the net and found no real fix for the battery drain

    P.S - I DID THE FACTORY DATA RESET 1 2 TIMES.

    Please help

I've had something similar happen to me when I first updated to MM. Besides wiping cache in recovery, I did a power down and pulled the battery out for a few minutes. I also remounted my SD card. I've had no issues since, hopefully that'll help you or at least steer you into the right direction.

In all the posts regarding battery consumption i have never seen "media" that high. Try without the sd card. If vastly improved, you may have a problem with the sd card.

I second what @Bosbouer is saying. Pop out the memory card and use it for a day and see if that makes a difference.

Battery drain is somewhat gone. Actually I have deleted all mp3 files from my phone, changed gallery Setting and changed a few settings in Samsung music player.... But still android system is at the top of the list... But don't have any idea how to tame ANDROID SYSTEM...there are some lags and random reboots

I have developed weird issue of random 5 - 10 sec freeze. Whatever taps I make during the time the fone is frozen it remains unresponsive but after a few seconds it responds to all the tap commands but after 10 seconds.

Some times I have to put phone in standby mode to sort the problem .
But after that initial problem it is perfectly normal and responsive.
How do I fix this issue

    P. S - I have cleared cache several times.

I have had same issues. Especially when I'm trying to type in text messaging. Or using default camera app. Reboots. Or just reboots at 39%battery life left. Samsung support said the updates aren't compatible with device. Or besides factory reset, did nothing & updating PRL & profile. He sent me a brand new battery replacement. To rulr out over heating. Same. Does anyone have any other luck?
