Couple things...
1) If the phone is bad, I agree... get it replaced.
In the meantime, plug the phone in, let it charge for awhile, and then press and hold the power button for 20+ seconds. If the phone won't turn on, then go with #1. If it powers up, back up your data and then do a factory reset. If you're going to get the phone replaced anyways, you'd want to factory reset it to wipe your data, so you may as well attempt the power up. If you can factory reset it, then perhaps the phone will run clean with the OS cleaned out. Nothing to lose at this point.
