I am looking for a desktop app that will link to my Note 4. I would like to be able to back up and restore android files and settings on my PC (Windows). I would also like to be able to manage ringtones from it, back up sms messages and call logs, and manage contacts and photos. Any recommendations?

I'm a huge fan of Air Droid, myself. There's a downloadable desktop app that you can use, but you can also link to your phone through their website. I prefer using the full site over the desktop app.

Allows for easy file/photo/video/music transfer to and from your phone.
You can download .apk files of all your apps.
Has a screen mirror option to cast your phone screen to your desktop.
You can send/receive phone calls and texts from your desktop.
Probably a bunch of other features that I haven't even come across yet.

Downside to it is that it comes with an annual $20 subscription, but it's been well worth it imo. Going on my 3rd year with it.
