Note 4 frequently locks

I have the locking set to 30 minutes. The power button is not set to lock. Nobody calls it. Yet sometimes it locks way under 30 minutes. Like in 5 minutes. I cannot figure out what is triggering it to lock.

Do you have a setting for screen time out or something?

Yes, the setting is set to the max of 30 minutes.

Any way to increase it to 1 hour? Sometimes it just locks after what seems like 3-4 minutes.

Nope.

I do sometimes tether, or sometimes create a wifi hot spot.

How about Smart Stay? Is that something you have enabled in Display and Wallpaper settings?
