    Hi guys,

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running on Marshmallow 6.0.1.

In the status bar on my two previous phones running on Kitkat 4.4.2. I would see a "system preview", for instance when USB cable is connected it says "Connected as a media device" or when I take a screenshoot it says "Saving Screenshoot".

Why those previews are not available on Marshmallow 6.0.1?

    Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central! Do you at least get a notification icon for those things?

Yes I receive icons only in the status bar. When I pull down notification bar I see all notifications as well on the lock screen. But on the 4.4.2 android version all notifications show up in the status bar and that is what i want to have on my Note 4..... is there anything that could be done? Like some app that will show notifications?

In the photos below you can see notifications on 4.4.2 android version...

    Thank you

I think it was a change that Marshmallow brought about: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS6/co...s_bar_missing/

Since the status bar is a system-level feature, I would guess that you'd have to root the phone in order to get notification previews back.
