First, I cannot live without WA. So uninstalling is NOT an option, please.

GSAM monitor screenshot is attached. WA version is latest - 2.17.254.

From a 10000mAH (the stock battery is about 3000mAH), WA alone has consumed half of 7000 (about 35000mAH) in about 12 hours!!!!!

Something is wrong with that WA or it is accessing to try something that is draining the battery.

Already tried resetting the phone and reinstalled the App, no change.

Welcome to the forums. You could try changing the WhatsApp backup settings just in case something got stuck in there. Open WhatsApp - three dots top right - settings - chats - chat backup - select 'only when I tap backup’ and then restart the phone. Charge your phone after this, use it normally for a day and see if the same problem persists.

Another thought. Just as test go to whatsapp settings - data usage and select 'no media' for the three options under auto-download. Do you usually receive lots of media files?

Yes, All 3 (Mobile Data, Wifi, Roaming) were previously set to No Media. I receive some media but due to WA limitation where you cannot store it to SD card, I set it to No Media long ago.
