Love how the title says "Massive Leak" that points to a single item... and then doesn't mention anything new or even the item from the title (USB-C) in the article body :P

I know USB-C is 'the way to go' these days, but I TRULY hope they don't. Just like they ditched USB 3, I hope they stick to MicroUSB with wireless charging included. I really don't want to change all my chargers and cables or carry around an extra adapter just for this

Classic click bait title they used, I know. When I saw the size of the supposed battery though, my eyes lit up. I have a 4,200 mAh battery in my S3 so that would be welcomed, although 4,100 at QHD would probably handle differently then 4,200 at 720P. I'm one that would carry a brick if it got me through 2 solid days of moderate use.

As for USB-C, I don't mind it on the face of it, but it depends on the practicality of it. Most places still have USB-2 ports for charging, so I don't know how quickly it would be adopted by campuses, airports, and other offices yet.

You don't need to change USB ports to use USB-C (only if you want to make use of the faster transfer speeds). Main grip would be with chargers with fixed output connectors, like car chargers. In theory, you could still use the same charger from, say, a Note 4, with this new connector as long as you plug the USB-C cable into a normal USB port. If they ship with a cable with BOTH ends as USB-C, then yeah, we're screwed haha.
