Seems like the Note 5 may not have a removable back, so for those of you who are power users and are still interested in the Note 5, will you be buying a battery pack or mophie? They rather look cumbersome, and are they the best thing next to swapple batteries? Any recommendation on the best battery pack?

If the battery is sized appropriately and the software handles it right there shouldn't be an issue with not having a removable battery. However, understanding people do have a preference for a swappable battery may make a non-removable battery a deal breaker for this device.

In terms of battery packs, since the device is not released yet, and cases have not been announced, it's a little hard to suggests something. Mophie does put out some nice battery packs, and if they have one for the Note 5, I'm sure it'll be a good product. Until then, keep an eye on the Android Central home page for more information leading up to the Note 5 and subsequent release, as well as any products that may be released for the device.

Probably just gonna walk around with a "battery tampon" or a full charger just in case for travels.

I don't mind at all since the chipset is gonna be made in 14nm

Deal breaker! Like many, I like to travel lite: carry my phone in my front pants pocket, shirts without pockets, etc. I also use our excellent public transportation system in Chicago; no car. I am somewhat of a power user. My Note 4 has excellent battery life, especially for all the features, screen, etc. It's usually good for getting through most of the day, at least until I get home at night. However, I also use apps that use a lot of battery power at certain times, and may need a fresh battery before I make it home. So I like being able to go from 10% to 100% within a minute or so. Can't do that with any type of charger, no matter how portable it is. That said, the real deal breaker is not having an SD card option. THAT REALLY SUCKS! I just don't see paying nearly $1,000 for a phone with enough memory for my needs. And screw "the cloud." Where is that cloud, anyway? Is it nuclear?
