Got my Verus Damda slide. Nice case that fits 3 cards easy and they're easy to remove. This case is SLIPPERY! The back of this case is as bad as, or worse than, the phone itself. I have a clear SP on the back of mine that offers more grip than the case. It goes a long way in convenience though. I think it does offer drop protection too. Perfecly aligned cut outs.

Would you buy the Damda case again in retrospect?

I am looking at the electric blue and the military green cases...

Also considering the leather-ish and the damda cases...

I wonder if the single use code is applicable to multiple cases in the same order (the offer says only one code use per order...but doesn't say that multiple cases can't be in that single order...).

At the very least, I can get two (one from my account, and one from my wife's account)...

    Verus case sale is back...

Verus Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X Cases as low as $2, iPhone 6/6S, iPhone 6/6S Plus (& More) Cases from $8.50 + FS @ Verus USA via Amazon - Slickdeals.net

Not as great a deal as last time... But still, if you are looking to buy a Verus case (or cases) at a discount, this is a 2nd opportunity!
Dang they raised the original prices, then gave a discount!! lol

I received my Luphie case today. It's well made, but adds about 2 ounces to the phone, raising it from about 6.2 oz to about 8.2 oz - a fairly sizable increase. The buttons work very nicely, but the back is glass, and fingerprints are an issue, as it is with the naked Note 5.

The item that indicates "open" is a locking mechanism. When open the two parts of the case (bumper and back) separate, which allows installation or removal. when locked, the back and bumper are (theoretically) locked.

    Here's what it looks like.

The cutouts seem to be precisely centered where they should be - it may be the shadows or the angle the pictures were taken at that make them look off.

I like it, except for the weight and fingerprints.

Ended up picking up four of the cases:

    - Military Green
    - Electric Blue
    - Coffee Brown PU Leather
    - Dark Grey Damda

For those of you wondering, you can use the code on an account to purchase 3 cases... The 4th one came up at full price, so I moved that one to my wife's account and applied the discount...

Argh! I really don't need this many cases!

I'll preface this by saying I'm not a big fan of cases. I'll typically get one or two because theoretically they are a good idea, and I'll use them for a few days and then toss them aside. I just really prefer the look and feel of a naked phone. I find otterbox and other gargantuan cases of the like that make phones look like giant bricks obnoxiously annoying and incredibly ugly.

That being said, I ordered a case for my lovely new Note 5, because it seemed like a good idea. My requirements are slim, feel good in the hand, and look good, and I must say the Spigen Liquid Crystal is damn near what I was looking for. It adds virtually no bulk at all to the phone and because it's clear and doesn't take away from the beauty of the Note 5, it looks great. Now it definitely doesn't feel as good in the hand as the naked Note 5, but the case does make it a little easier to hold.

So there you have it, the case for people who generally dislike cases.

I just got my Samsung Flip Wallet Case. It only holds one card but I really like it. I was going to order with the Samsung 30% off coupon but I found it Newegg for 18.99 with free shipping. It looks kind of gray in the pics but it's much more blue in person.

I have Verizon so I'm not counting on having the chance to get it. If they do release Samsung Pay for VZW I will just go for the charger.

Just got the bumper case from eBay. It fits OK, needs to be a little tighter. But I do like it, it protects the edges of the phone. Leaves the back clear, which also helps with the wireless charging.

Not bad for $3 from eBay...

Hmm.. I've been browsing this thread a little (still not done yet) and I am compelled to order an extra case myself. I mean, realistically, I don't see myself changing cases very often but... since I can't get the gold phone I wanted, I think I need extra goldish cases.

How's the grip? Or how slippery is it?

The sides of the case have a slight rubbery feel to them (versus the hard plastic feel of some cases)... I wouldn't call the phone slippery at all...but I would also say that I have owned cases (most notably the Speck cases) that have rubber accents around the phone that make it a lot "grippier" than this phone...

That said, I think this is currently my "go to" case at this point... Not a lot of bulk, seems like it has nice cushion for drops, good lip around the screen...

If I am looking for something COMPLETELY minimal, I would still go to the Ringke SLIM, as it adds almost zero bulk...but if I want to protect my phone, this Caseology Vault case is fantastic...

I had it on my Note 4, and it may be the best case I've ever used. Great fit and feel, but, it's bigger than I want now. I have the Spigen transparent ultra thin case (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010MWEUII?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage) and have gotten used to a super-thin case, and am really liking it.

My son has the smaller version of this one for his Galaxy S5, and he says that the black ribs make the phone very "grippy"...

He demonstrated by laying his phone on the palm of his hand and slowly turning his palm vertical, and the phone held quite impressively...it definitely is not a slippery case!
