    Just a quick heads up for anyone getting theirs today from Verizon. Apparently, they are having activation issues. I hope it's done by the time I get mine, but you never know......

    I agree 100%... I am a long time T-Mobile customer as well and not registered with the JUMP program. I placed my online order first thing this morning and was given free, overnight shipping. I just received my text that my order has been processed and delivery date is set for tomorrow.

    Well, I have been a TMobile customer since 2007, but I didn't do the Jump program like you. I paid $99 downpayment, then the remaining balance spread in 24 months (EIP program ). Whatever program you choose or whether you are a new/old customer, shipping should be free as advertised on the homepage. I would call TMobile to waive it if they did charge you for it.

    Ok...Howdy! Folks!

    I have finally received the note 5 yesterday and I've been comparing my N4 to the N5. Man....it runs much smoother on the N5. It feels thin, looks better, but is a fingerprint magnet. On my N4 is a 32GB w/ expandable 32GB card, but I never even came close to using up the memory because of the cloud storage method so, I ordered the 32GB black N5. Using Sidesync is really easy and nice to use when transferring files. The speaker is finally much better on the N5 (sucks on the N4). Just when I thought the S-Pen couldn't get any better. It is actually better and I really like the click quick pull-out for note taking on the black screen and auto-save (NICE!).

    Anyone know how Verizon is going to do the pre-orders? Assuming they will do it as normal and ship them Wednesday for Friday delivery, the release date.
    If you pre-ordered early (Thu/Fri) and haven't heard from them or gotten an update, I think you should contact them. After watching forum members, and then a co-worker place orders in the past few days and get shipping notices, I called Verizon yet again. I had ordered Thursday within four hours of going live for pre-orders, but still was "processing." After some research, they discovered that their website wasn't accepting my acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions, nor was it if I did it via email. I had committed to those Thursday. (I would tell me it was OK, and I have provided Verizon support with screen shots showing all is good, but behind the scenes, nothing was getting updated.) They finally put me through a voice-based/PIN based acknowledgement system, and THAT seems to have took.
    So, not one email indicating and issue or trying to remind me, as one part of the system thought it was OK, but the other side didn't, all internal to Verizon's system I was told. I wouldn't be surprised if others are in limbo, so wanted you folks to know. At least I can see my iconic status has changed, but I think I'm reset in the queue and won't see anything until Friday. Beyond frustrated.

    I ordered it Sunday evening 8/16. I actually thought it was going to take longer. When I first got the shipping confirmation it stated that the expected delivery time was Thursday 8/20 then I checked again later on in the afternoon and it had moved to Wednesday. I'm having it delivered to my job so it'll be here around 3pm.

    Don't sweat it, mine showed the same thing. By the end of the day it'll probably be moved up to Wednesday.

    I ordered from Best Buy on 8/13 and my order still shows processing, however the free wireless charger is showing preparing to ship.

    Mine has been delivered and no signature was required. Damn you AT&T for having FedEx to just leave it on my porch!
    FedEx has been known to leave them in my driveway, more than once. I hate FedEx with a vengeance.
