Mine today..but I must warn.. Get things working like you want and don't obsess over battery life. Have it like you want and enjoy your phone.

I'm hopeful an update will fix some of this...

Tomorrow my 64GB Note 5 comes to replace this 32GB version. If I notice any differences (I might try a different setup) I'll post them here.

I would think so too. I had a Galaxy S6E. Battery life was so much better after an update.

Always when you buy a new phone there is "settling in" time for the battery. But.. If you had bad battery life with your old phone and do everything the same, you won't have good battery life with the knew one. There are limited things that will improve your personal battery life, bigger battery, some optimizations, but if you had trouble before, without a much bigger battery, if nothing changes with how you use your phone, you will still have problems.

Just seems like "fruity" devices do better out of the box than this. Annoying mainly

Yes and why I'm still on android... i just don't understand why we have these issues. I can't think of much I want running in the background other than normal sync, which fruits keep turned on but only lose 1%/hr

You had a lot of wake locks on your N4. Something was waking it all night and always keeping your phone from going into a deep sleep. It might take reseting and every couple of days only adding two or three apps back at a time to figure out which one was doing it.

Yeah, when I get my 64GB Note 5 tomorrow I'll try that very carefully and slowly for once. I ended up not caring because the Note 4 had 3 batteries... not an option now!

Kelly do you use Google Now? I have a feeling that and Google Wallet are partial culprits, and both I'd rather not give up.

Also, with the Note 5 how do we view the wake locks like we did on the Note 4?

Here are mine for today... I typically charge the phone every other day since I have had it. I keep a wireless charger at work and use the plug in charger any other time.

Mine today after using the debloater on the play store. I'll have a more strenuous day tomorrow. I used the non root version of wakelock detector and found the main culprit of the large android system usage was Google music so I disabled that and am now using the Samsung native music player.

Today was my first day using the Note 5 and the battery is not that great I'm hoping it gets better after a few cycles, at least that's what I've read somewhere on here, I wish it was as good as the battery on my Note 4 pre lollipop days, lollipop killed my Note 4 battery, I just hope this battery improves a little because I really like this phone:)
