Very true forgot about that lol, but i never use Samsung Pay or any thing for credit on my phone i rather use my plastic card.
I would use it in a heartbeat if they took my bank. I used to use Google Wallet with tap and pay and loved it.

You don't need NFC for Samsung Pay.
Kelly can you share your settings too? And your stats?

These are the last I have, I posted earlier today. That My T-Mobile app polls location a lot.

This is what I have disabled.

The latest what app from the Play Store?

I have Tapatalk, AC Forums and the Android Central App all three on NY phone and it isn't draining my battery.
Okay, tried it again today and not the issue. Battery was good the day before I turned it on so I thought it could be it. Then it was good again the next day after disabling it so I thought it had to be it. Was going to double check anyways. Had it on today and battery is great, so something else happened. Now I'm wondering what, but will just move on to the next app.

You should run your phone for 24 hours like normal, also install GSam battery monitor. Then post some screenshots for us after the 24 hours of running it.

Also others please remember, battery life is subjective to carrier, signal, how you use your phone, etc. You can set your phone up exactly the same, doesn't mean you will get the exact same battery life.
    Yes, this is true.

I haven't done any gaming today on my G3 and my battery life is nearly 6 hours SoT. But this was with mainly WiFi all day and, like I said, no games. Games kill battery more than anything it seems.

    Here's a shot of my G3:

Yup, many games will eat battery so much your battery will drop still when your phone is plugged in and playing.

My battery life is nothing like this, turning off nfc changed nothing and I get like 30% or higher drain on standby per charge cycle. Right now I'm barely getting 4 hours of SoT and I'm not even using my phone heavily anymore. Should i send my phone in to samsung or something?

I was using the " my places" widget and I found that it was draining my battery. Since removing it, my battery life has been much improved.

or playing high bitrate videos. I stupidly encoded all of my Blu-ray collection into 1080p with 640kbps audio. Each video is set to be just under 3999MB, in order to get around the 4GB size limit of FAT32. (mostly because I have several other devices that can only read FAT32 and not exFAT or NTSF) The Note 5 plays it without any issue and the video look great... but I guess it also takes a lot of CPU processing power, so the battery life aint' so great.

Even worse is playing 1440p YouTube videos. They look bloody marvelous, but again, takes more CPU processing and lower battery life.

So what SOT are you averaging and how often are you recharging?

4 hours on average, and I usually recharge once a day. Usually when it's down to 15-20%, sometimes less if I can't get to a charger

The reason i got this time 4hrs of SOT there was a wifi issue and network but all got resolve, my average SOT is 6hrs to 7 hrs, considering that i got 1 day and over 15 hrs with SOT 4 hrs is excellent battery life , i charge my phone once a day when it hits 3 to 5 % , And 8hrs 1/2 is on 4G LTE when I'm at work the rest when I'm home Wifi on always.

Not always and you can't compare how your phone does to other phones. People use them different ways. You can browse a few things, use a lot of texting, reply to a lot of emails, etc and it doesn't use a lot of battery and you can get a lot of hours.

If you are making it through the day, then that is good. Do many factors go into phone use and some things will use more battery than others. Signal through the day am make a difference in battery usage.

I'm not getting 6-7 hours SOT always, sometimes I get less, sometimes I get more.

Thats the thing though, I have NEVER gotten even 5 hours of SoT, no matter how I've used the phone. That's what irks me

But that is OK if the phone is done what you need it to do and meeting reasonable expectations. You could have apps that ping location more or again, in an area much of the day with a lower signal.

Actually that isn't what power saving does.
Well whatever it does it doesn't do it for me. I put my phone on energy saver today and got typical battery use....in fairness I tried it on note 3.
