    I just called them to add the insurance and they wouldn't sell it to me. They said it wasn't available at the moment and they didn't know when/if it was going to be offered. Seems like an odd omission for the launch day for a new flagship device? they literally won't take my money.

    I was surprised when they said the same thing to me. I find it rather peculiar that they don't offer insurance on their newest phones.However, I signed up for squaretrade as of right now, since I can get a full refund if I cancel within 30 days. Hopefully Samsung will offer insurance by then.

    Same thing happened with the S6 at launch. The insurance was available about a week later.

    Ok cool - that's what I assumed and was hoping, just wanted to hear it from somebody that followed Samsung a little closer than myself (Note 5 is my first Samsung phone - love it).
