Found the flashlight

I always have the flashlight widget on my home screen as it comes in handy almost daily for me. I was a bit surprised the widget was missing from the Note 5. Not the end of the world, I just downloaded one from the play store.

However, as I keep playing with my new shinny, I went into the drop down curtin to see what options I have and there it is "flashlight". This works great for me. I hope it helps you if you've been looking for the flashlight.

Open the drop-down and then touch the pencil icon at the top right corner. You will see it there.

OIC now...you have to click edit and there are a bunch of icons that get prioritized. Like NFC is automatically toggled on and I could not figure out how to turn it off. Thanks for posting this thread.

Edit the selections and put them in the order you like.

Thanks! You inadvertently helped me (was getting hugely pissed off). I have the S-View cover and had no idea you could swipe down for notifications on it. (The Note 4 had a flashlight shortcut built in to the S-View choices. Pretty sure the Note 3 had neither - I just used an app.)

Choose edit and it shows all the icons.

While some of you have no flashlight and some have it, mine arrived with Torch (see below).

For those who may not know, you don't have to unlock your phone to get to this area. Just turn on the phone and swipe down the panel. I do that most of the time to get to the flashlight.
