I saw tons of posturing from people saying that with no removable battery and no SD card slot they would not purchase the Note 5 or the S6 Edge+. I'm sure those folks thought that if the masses stood up in unison that Samsung would get the message and never go that route.
Well, Samsung got the message alright but it wasn't the one that those folks expected. It turns out that sales of the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ are well above Note 4 in early sales as reported by Sammobile.com. It would appear that the missing SD card slot and non-removable battery were not an issue at all. So, I guess it's good bye to those features forever. Maybe some smaller brand will do it but I think we'll see those features fade into the sunset for everyone.
