In-call Contact Pictures

This is annoying me a bit. I've noticed my last couple of phone calls, that the contact photo being displayed is the small circular version like on your favorites screen.

So as a test, I had my wife call me, and while it was ringing, the photo was large, taking half of the screen.

When I called her right back, the photo was tiny.

It's driving me bonkers!

I'm actually curious about this as well. Coming from an S5 and having a half screen contact picture during calls was something I liked. Anyone know a way to change it?

Just got my Note 5 last night. I noticed today that the color / quality of the contact photos are much different (in a bad way) than my Note 3. Weird. Yellow tint and very grainy!!

Ive had that happen when switching phones, its like the picture resolution took a dive. I didnt have that happen this time.
