Scrolling screen capture not working?

It appears that when i use my spen and pull up the "screen write" feature the "scroll capture" option does not appear. Only the three main options appear "share", "save in gallery", and "save in scrapbook". Not sure what the issue is, can anyone help?

I just checked mine. When you click on screenwrite it automatically takes a shot right? And then if there is more to be captured the bottom left of the screen should have the capture more option.

Keep in mind if you are not on a page that you would scroll down to continue reading, the option will not appear.. only when the page is scrollable.

I just tried w a single page and the option didnt pop up.

My Verizon Note 5 works exactly like your Note 5. I don't seem to see any settings allowing this to be turned on/off. But I have not looked a whole lot.

i cleared the cache for screen write, gallery, and rebooted my phone. now it appears.

This is a great feature for viewing on your own device but i can see the quality really takes a dive when sending out as an attachment.

ok, so after i made this post i went to sleep, and when i woke up it worked. i think it was just a glitch, i have my phone set to reboot once daily after i stop using it. basically it was just a software malfunction that the phone worked out on its own. so i guess if you get this error just restart your device, and hope for the best. anyway, thanks for the replies, and whatnot.

ps if you haven't checked it out, look up sidesync in the samsung store. now all of my texting apps that can only be accessed on my phone can be viewed on my desktop. oh technology, oh samsung i love ye old soul.

It depends if your app or carrier compresses the picture or not.

On my S7 Edge I had turned off the "Smart Capture" under Device->Advanced features option since I thought I'd never use the hover over screen function as it didn't work well for me - but that option also disables this the capture more overlay feature - so check there if you came here from google search like I did.
