Mine show the correct direction.

Start moving and it should turn you in the right direction once it gets a better lock.

Yesterday the whole way home it had me facing the wrong direction. About a 35 minute drive. I closed and restarted maps several times. Not sure what is going on. I tried the figure 8 thing as well. It shows me on the right roads and everything just facing the wrong direction. Mildly annoying.

The gps on my Note 5 is fast, accurate and much better than the gps on the Note 4.
