    If anyone know, if there is a difference even, which is more secure... The Gmail app, or the stock "Email" program that comes with the Note 5?

    I'm not sure but with Google and Gmail nothing is secure.
    You might have more security using your internet providers mail service.

    I would do that, but I am not home enough to have an ISP, LOL. I only used Gmail because it is entwined with Android (same reason I used iCloud when I had an iPhone)

    That is how I see it also. If you want secure email you have to use an end to end encrypted email program such as, for example, Tutanota,
