I'm wondering if there is a way to make the auto brightness not as bright in my new Note 5. When I place it next to my old Note 3 and 4 side-by-side on the same table in the same room, the Note 5 is way too bright. If I turn off all the lights in the room, except one 40-watt accent light in the corner, the Note 5's screen is almost uncomfortably bright.(again, compared next to the Note 3 and 4)
I know there's nothing wrong with the Note 5 because I borrowed two different Note 5 phones from my co-workers.(a T-Mo version and a VZW version) All three Note 5 phones have the same brightness. I assume Samsung tweaked the Note 5's screen or the auto brightness sensor to be that bright? Is there a way to alter this? I am now using manual brightness control because my eyes can't stand that much brightness. Plus an unnecessarily bright screen must be consuming more battery power, right?
Thanks for any advice!
