On my Note 10.1 2014 tablet there is an option to create a shortcut that automatically opens two predetermined apps in multi screen. For example, since I often take notes in Evernote while I'm watching a YouTube video, I can pair the two together in a shortcut and always have that them up together on a multi screen with one tap. Does anyone know if this is possible on the Note 5?

I don't think so. The menu/multi screen is accessed differently and there is no option to "edit" as the Note 2014 has.
