Hi - Im looking to purchase a Note 5 international varient N920i. The seller claims the phone cannot be reported stolen since its sans carrier and therefore guranteed to work after the sale. Is this true? Im worried the phone will be reported stolen after the sale and ill be left with a $650 paperweight. Any input would be appreicated. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! That would raise all sorts of red flags for me. My suggestion is to look elsewhere.

Kind of sounds like the phone he is selling might be stolen.

I'm inclined to agree. I would look for something else.
