I'll narrow this question to the Samsung Keyboard, the Google keyboard and Swiftkey.

Do they all do both correction and prediction or one or the other? It seems Swiftkey does more prediction to me vs correcting misspelled words. The samsung keyboard has a setting to enable or disable correct misspelled words.

i admit i don't use the samsung or google keyboards much, i tend to stick with swiftkey. i also don't like for any of them to autocorrect my spelling....that way i find leads to me sending texts with the wrong words sent. if you type a word misspelled, swiftkey will automatically show the correctly spelled word in the bar of predictions, you can set the space bar to insert that word with a tap. i find it just as easy to tap the word....if often only takes a couple of letters for swiftkey to predict the word anyway so i often don't need to even type in the whole word.
