How to delete contacts with only email addresses

Just got the Note 5 and having a hard time adjusting. One of my issues is my contacts.

When I go into the Phone Dialer>Favourite>Add, it gives me a bunch of contacts with only email address. These contacts looks to include everyone I've ever emailed to, and not anyone I really associate with.

How do I delete these. There's no option to delete these and I can't find these contacts anywhere else on the phone. When I go to my gmail contacts, these are not listed either.

Click the phone icon then in the upper right corner select more > settings > on this page you should see an option to turn off contacts without phone numbers
