Haven't seen this mentioned but it occurred to me that something was missing from my lock screen that I had on my Note 3. For those that are not aware, you can put a personal message on your lock screen that scrolls by. It may help if your phone is found or you could get creative if you bought one for your kid or wife. Use your imagination. :)

Go to Settings - Personal - Lock Screen & Security - Show Info - Owner Info

Mine just simply says, If found call xxx-xxx-xxxx or my email address. Obviously, use a different phone number.

Ha, you say obviously, but you know people do it....
The same thought process (or lack thereof) is involved when someone gets a new phone number, then mass texts all their contacts to let them know.

On more than one occasion, I've gotten the following text, or something similar... from a random (new) number:

"Hey, this is my new number... delete the old one."
