One of the things I want to do with my s-pen is learn to draw. Anyone know any apps that teaches you to draw?

I think the younger folks are quicker about using the pen for more than just writing notes.

I've watched the posted videos twice (plus all my pauses...lol) and have learned a lot.

I draw with pencil but I cannot draw well on my phone at all. Nowhere near the same control as a real graphite pencil and real paper.

I just used it for the past 30 minutes filling out a PDF for my title company on the sale of my home. It saved me a ton of time having to print it, scan it back and creating another PDF. S-Note handled it like a champ. Just sent it back out through email all through my Note 5!

When you fill out the form can it change the handwritten entries into printed entries? My handwriting is illegible.

Something I drew using snote to test it out.
Sketchbook is a pretty neat app too.

    Very nice.
Wish I could draw on my phone. I just can't control it well.

That's awesome. Problem is I don't know how to do that on my own. I need an app to teach me.

You want to learn to draw, period?
There are many books and dvds to teach people to draw. I suggest you read reviews because some expect you to know some things already and some are for beginners.

I can draw pretty well on paper but once I use Spen, I suck. Slightest movements can totally alter the drawing. My hand is more jittery on the phone.

I would like to try drawing on my Note. I think it would be a fun activity to get into.

Thanks guys. I'm not that good of an artist. Just average. My hands are pretty shaky too. On the phone it's a little annoying to draw because of the small screen.
The trick is to clean the edges of the drawing using the white pen to get the lines sharp. Confession: I hardly use the pen. But, I'd like to use it more! Please advise.-uploadfromtaptalk1447639801278.jpg

The white pen vs the eraser.

I use smart select all the time to share things I find on twitter, or photos perhaps, with friends. Also you can copy and text by holding the button and "highlighting" the text
So you share it as an image? We used to be able to grab text and share it as text.. That's gone, isn't it?

Yes, but optical reader does the same thing.

I need the ability to copy and paste text from Facebook - for several business groups I run.... Optical reader reads through the camera, correct?

It has an option to look at images on your device and find the text.

Download optical reader from galaxy apps.
The easiest way to get there is start the camera, mode, download, search for optical reader.
Open optical reader, tap the arrow at the top, which will then show you the gallery icon.

I got here from the camera.

You can also add the galaxy apps widget to a screen and go in that way.

It's not in the list for me, but I searched and got it. Interestingly, I also don't have the Samsung app store on my phone.
