The vibrations on my Note 5 are so weak that I can't feel it vibrant in my OtterBox defender case in the belt holster chipped to my belt. Is there a app or some way to increase the vibrant function?

The Defender case may be "absorbing" the vibration "wave" intensity. Combine that with being somewhat disconnected with your body via the swivel socket, and then the belt holster clip; I can see how the vibration intensity could be less once it reaches your hip.

Not quite sure how to solve this one short of not using the holster case.

Pick up a cheap smart watch, like a used Moto 360, and never miss another notification!

I think there might be some truth behind that, messing around with mine in my defender case it does seem to absorb a lot of the vibrations.
