I have had this happen when using Samsung Pay as well as the chip embedded in my card. It has to be an issue on Walmart's side. Only works with actually swiping cards right now in my experience.

It worked for me all the time at Wal-Mart. It's the cashier's fault.

I realized that, like I said above , that you have to push the green button sometimes and if the cashier doesn't authorize it in the time allotted, it gets declined. I have to ask them a lot to do that.

I think Wal-Mart is blocking mobile payments from other vendors to boost their "Wal-Mart Pay" mobile payment system. I had no problems using Samsung Pay at my local WM until 3 weeks ago. Now I have gotten a "Card Number Not Valid" response from the teller on six different attempts over that 4 weeks. Samsung Pay works everywhere else I have tried.

If Walmart is "blocking" Samsung pay, it is no Walmart I've been to between West Virginia an Florida. Works every time. And now mst on my new gear s3. Used it there this morning.
