Google an image then use two fingers to increase the image size. Does the image drag down to the lower left corner of your display instead of just staying centered and increasing in size?

Mine does nothing at all. No increase in size and doesn't go into the left corner.

Mine stays centered and increases or decreases as (I think) it's supposed to.

Yes on the native browser it drags down and to the right. But if you press and hold on the image, a window pops up and i can click view. I can zoom in and out on actual image.

Probably dependent on carrier - mine works just like the OP's. I am on Verizon.
You have to enable the zoom function to get any zoom at all. But then, it zooms to the lower right.
