    My friend has a Note 5. On all other Android handsets she had when you access your app page you have dots on the bottom to indicate number of pages/panels so for example you can access panel 5 by touching the 5th dot instead of swiping through 4 other panels.

    The problem is that the ability to do that appears absent on the Samsung Note 5. Any idea why or how to activate it?

    Welcome to Android Central! What carrier is that Note5 on? My wife's Note5 on T-Mobile has those dots--however, they don't allow you to jump to the page. If you tap the rightmost dot, for example, it just scrolls one screen to the right, instead of jumping to the last screen.

    You'd probably have to install a 3rd party launcher to get the that function, like Nova Launcher.

    You can get the overflow button can be accessed through the side panel key.
