When I had the Note 3, I had a setting where the text message alert could be set to repeat until I saw the text message. I'm not seeing that with the Note 5.

The problem is....if I get an important text message while in the shower, or whatever, I often miss it because the notification just plays when the text comes in, but doesn't repeat...like every 2 minutes until I open it.

Can I do this with the Note 5?

BTW...I do set "special sounds" for particular contact numbers because I know that those texts are very important, so I really do NOT want to miss those just because I was away from my phone when the text came in.

    Thank y'all...and Roll Tide!

It's still there. Unless yours is carrier branded and the carrier has messed with it (T-Mobile version is still there). Just go to Accessibility in your Settings and under More Settings you should see a Notification Reminder option. You can even select which apps to remind you of and if the device should use LED, Vibration, and/or Sound. Obviously you can set the reminder interval as well.

    Thanks SpookDroid!

Note3 nicely defaulted to "notify every 10 minutes until read".
But I just replaced my Note3 with a Samsung A32 to get 5G.
On the A32, with T-mobile, setup is nearly identical ...
