I am going to be getting the Note 5 in a couple of weeks and wanted some opinions on the Samsung S-View Clear Flip Cover. I am a fan of flip covers and loved the S-View cover on my Note 4. But I want the clear flip cover because I don't want to cover up a beautiful phone. I know it's pricey but I have a $10 credit from Android Central and it's currently selling for $40.

It's HORRIBLE. I read the reviews, convinced myself I could live with it. Worst case ever. Returned it after 2 days. Flimsy, cheap looking, worthless interaction capabilities. Go with the window case or wallet case if you want to stick with OEM (and get auto-on/off). Hope this helps you avoid the aggravation of dealing with the case.

It's not like the Note 4 S-View case at all. I planned on buying that case for my Note 5 but after seeing it on YouTube, I decided against it.

I am just going careless on my Note 5.

I've seen many reports it scratches the glass. Invest in a screen protector if you do. Samsung from what I read knows about the issue and has supposedly replaced the screens and gave a free protector to some with the issue.

Ok thanks everyone and I always use a screen protector with my phone. I guess I will go to Best Buy to check it out before purchasing it from Android Central. Is the back at least clear?
I'm just looking for a case that is clear so that it doesn't cover up the the Note 5's beautiful design. I'm very careful with my phone and don't think I dropped my Note 4 once since I owned it. I just want a case that is clear while offering some type of protection for the phone.

People really think that the flip cover case is horrible? I don't have one, but I was interested in it.

I have also seen some reports that the S-view scratches the glass!
I use the Wallet Flip Cover original which has great looks & protection.

I was looking at those too. Any issues with that case?

I received my wallet case early. Got it yesterday. So far I like it. Not sure how protective its going to be. But, I do like it.
