What font pack are you using. I was using iFont. I'm able to use the standard fonts they have. It's the 3rd party fonts that I'm not able to change! I was able to do it before the update.

Ok, I'm just using the standard fonts. Maybe the 3rd party ones need to be updated to work with marshmallow, but that's just an uninformed guess.

I'm can only use the pre-installed ones now. Third party ones no longer work for me as well.

The apps aren't playing to nice with marshmallow. I was reading in the comments from the apps that I always use and alot of ppl where saying the app worked fine until their phone updated to 6.0.

I have bought fonts through the Samsung store and they work. I prefer the ones on Google Play though because there's a greater variety. Nothing from there works since my upgrade to marshmallow.

The fonts from Samsung made by Monotype font foundry. My suggestion is that you find a font by Monotype on the Playstore and download it and see if it will work. If yes, then the other font foundries are the ones to direct your questions to. If no, they contact Monotype and ask them how to fix the issue.

Have you looked at these fonts on the Samsung App store?
Middleton Brush, Spellcaster, Carmine Tango, Julietrose, ITC Schuss Hand, Fine Print, Berranger Hand, or Mercureus Script?

It's not "Android" it's exclusively a Samsung Marshmallow problem. I've looked and everybody else I know running everything else but Samsung, even with marshmallow, is still able to do it.

this is the message from samsung:

Upon checking. only the download fonts from the Galaxy app would work on the device. All third party fonts downloaded outside the Galaxy app will be unsupported.
I do apologize as there is not specific reason as to why it is made not to work on the Marshmallow update.
Samsung has disabled the use of any other type of font except for ‘Flip Fonts’.:

I would surmise that it is a security reason. Font files have been shown to be susceptible to hacking to gain access to a device.

I know what the issue is. Samsung have blocked all third party applications for fonts due to FlipFonts getting no money and its also with privacy issues. You can only get the Free FlipFonts or the paid as Samsung has stopped all phones doing it as I have the older version to the A3 not updated to Marshmallow and it wont work for me either not happy This is the only reason I moved to Samsun.g

This is totally lame. I create my own fonts. Is there a way to get them to work on my phone?
