    i have no doubt its operator error but since my phone updated the hotspot wont work. tried resetting it up but didnt help.

    ideas ?

    well found a way to reset network connections (in settings) and now i got the phones hotspot showing on my laptop as an available network but cant connect to it...weird

    ok, fixed it.

    settings > backup & reset > reset network settings
    then i did
    settings > backup & reset > reset settings
