How can I get Camera and Gallery working?

Camera and Gallery are not working

I started having issues with my phone on Saturday. When I open my camera it does not give me the option to take a picture and when I open the gallery I get a blank screen. My pictures are saved on a SD card and they are not showing either. I finally got them to show today when I cleared the cache, but if I try to select anything I get a message that says "The process android.process.media has stopped" Can anyone help?

Welcome to Android Central! When you open the Camera app, does the viewfinder work but there's just not shutter release button? Or is it a blank screen? Do you mean that you wiped the cache partition, or just cleared the app cache?

It might be a corrupt SD card issue. Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer. Run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html. Try a different card.
