So I guess we should take this as a sign that at&t hates it's customers on samsung phones because the LG G3, yes G3 like a 2gen old phone, got marshmallow! Wtf!? Thanks for the awesomeness!!... Not!

They're probably optimizing the OS for Samsung devices. You don't want a crap update like Sprint received do you. The update doesn't do anything fantastic, why stress about it.

I have to say it seems ridiculous that they would update the G3 before the Note 5. And I'm still on the February security update. This will be my last carrier branded phone.

This kind of nonsense is what Verizon customers normally deal with, while AT&T gets all the goodies first. This time, Verizon was first.

My wife has an S6 on at&t and it is reduculous that they are taking this long. At&t adds a lot of their own bloatware to their phones, I think the most of any carrier.

I just see it as att using that two year old phone as a test dummy before they push the update to newer phones. I'm OK with that. Lol

It better not be taking this long because AT&T is loading up its dish network app on it.

They are holding on to it because they haven't finished adding all their crapware to it yet.

When AT&T releases first,Verizon is always like 2 weeks later maybe a month. When Verizon gets it first, at&t is over a month behind. Either way though, at&t and Verizon almost always get the s*** end if the stick when it comes to updates.

Hopefully Samsung starts making unlocked non carrier bloated phones more readily available or maybe next phone will be a nexus device.
Regardless it will not be a carrier locked device or on ATT

Well then I don't know what is wrong with your AT&T Note 5. I personally know a ton of people who own the AT&T Note 5 and none of them have the issues you have stated. They don't have the slightest bit of lag and the battery life is amazing. I take my phone of the charger at 6am and when I go to bed at 10 pm I still have 40 to 50% battery life. I am a moderate to heavy user and use my phone all day long for work purposes.

More then likely it's an app you download that is causing those issues or you just received a bad device. MM probably won't fix those issues you stated.

I know a ton of people that HAVE had issues, but then again, I don't usually make fun of their weight.

I dont care who ya are, thats funny right there.

A lot who don't have issues don't post on here. There are few threads of how great MM is BUT more of problems. So far I've have had a great experience with it. Battery great, Facebook app works fine, browsing web, spen, etc., no problems so far.

    Tmobile update on my phone.

I've been thinking about the Nexus but I'm actually one of those people who use the S Pen for drawing. So it would be a tough call. Just I hate AT&T especially with how long it takes them to do anything. I was thinking on maybe T-Mobile... but to change carriers just for updates seem silly lol.

Highly doubtful . Especially since the AT&T beta for MM has been spotted in the wild / reported on.
