Way to bypass pin/passcode and just use fingerprint in MM as before?

I just installed MM 2 days ago, and every time I restart phone, I have to enter my pin before I can use my fingerprint.
I liked Lollipop where I just used my fingerprint to unlock screen.
Is there a way to do this in MM?
I did a search and could not find an answer, although I'm sure many people are having the same problem.

No there isn't. In Marshmallow when you restart, the first time you need to enter the passcode and then afterwards you can unlock using Fingerprints. That's just how it is.

I use my finger print since my mm update yesterday. At first it was the swipe then password, but I went to settings and added a 3rd fingerprint setting and it works for me. I don't know if that third did it.

I just checked and it says "swipe to unlock" then the option to use a fingerprint or password. But I skip all that and just use my fingerprint.
