I have a galaxy Note 5 widget question, any help?

I have a galaxy note 5 widget question.

How can I get to the widgets without pressing the empty screen & then tapping the widget app? Can I access the widget app without going through a blank place on the screen?

Welcome to Android Central! I believe that's the only way to access the Widgets list. Older versions of Android sometimes had a Widgets tab in the App Drawer, but that's not very common any more.

You can pinch the home screen.

Fastest way for me to pull up the widget list is on any screen place thumb and index finger about 2 inches apart and do the pinching motion. This will shrink the screen and bring up wallpapers, widgets and settings (I have Nova launcher and that's what the settings bring up). I'm on a T-mobile, Note 5 on Marshmallow.
