Galaxy NOte 5 - External Display

Hello All..

I have a Galaxy Note 5 and I want to connect it to an external display. I was on chat with Samsung and they say it cant be done. "There is no cable for the note 5"

I find this impossible! I know it can be done wirelessly, but I need to be cabled.

ANy ideas?

The Note 5 does not support MHL, so Samsung are correct

I found something strange....
This is on Samsung's website:
Galaxy Note 5 - How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to my TV using an HDMI cable?

However, the only one I could find in their store was this:
MHL 2.0 HDTV Smart Adapter

And the note 5 is not listed as a compatible device. It is possible the second link hasn't been updated. You should be able to return it, but I would double check for the return policy, just in case.

I know this is like a year later, but I just concluded a long chat with Samsung tech support. They told me that, using the Samsung HDTV Adapter, you can connect to an external monitor. It will mirror the screen on your Note 5
