Contact not saving

I tried to save a contact last night and it didn't work, same with today. Today it saved, then the saved name.went away and it just showed the phone number. Anyone have this issue

You know what, I think that was the issue. I wasn't paying attention to the email address I was just adding a new contact. I changed the email to Gmail and it saved. I'll see if it stays. It saved originally under gmx then disappeared

I had mine disappearing and what I figured out was I had to open the app, Contacts, select settings then choose what accounts to display and sub categories I wanted displayed, and then save. I have 4 different emails associated with the phone and it worked.
