Problem when light is low

Hi,

I have this strange problem since last month or so. When I charge my unit and the light is dim, the screen turns on when I press power or the home button but stay on only for a second or so. As soon as I turn on the light bright enough, the phone screen will stay on. I made a quick video to show.

Any idea what is going on? I tried the factory reset, clearing the cache...

I get that problem from time to time, I think it has to do with the ambient light sensor. It's usually when I am in the car and trying to skip a song on Spotify and it's is charging, a minor annoyance but not a big deal honestly. Try turning off the auto-brightness and see what happens. I should do that myself as it never really works like it should since upgrading to Marshmallow.

Go to Settings>Display>Keep Screen Turned Off, and turn that switch off. This feature prevents the screen from accidentally turning on when it's some place dark like your pocket or purse.
