I am kinda new to the smartphone era. Just checking if there was a way to get new Android update for my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. My carrier is US Cellular. I live in North Carolina. Thanks in advance.
I'm sure that there is, so long as your carrier has released the OS. If there is a US Cellular version of the new OS and you can't get it OTA (SETTINGS/SYSTEM UPDATES/CHECK FOR SYSTEM UPDATES), then you should be able to do it with Samsung's Smart Sync application for your PC. That will identify the right OS for your specific phone, then download and install it. Using that method will normally result in losing everything on your device, so make sure that you backup your photos, music, document, and such.
I posted this earlier in the week. It has a walkthrough of using Smart Sync.
