WHY a PWd REQUD Just to Turn Phn Off?

Can't recall when this started but does anyone know of a Setting where for Phone OFF the Password would then be requd?

Thanks for any Help to return to Simple Turn-Off!!

Issue RESOLVED!! Online SPPT had me Hold Down VOL Key and POWER Btn for 10-30 sec for Soft Reset & THAT cured the issue.

THAT Fix lasted One Shutdown. Last night it wanted the Password again to Turn Off my phone.
Will update when able.

This time they had me boot to Safe Mode (Phone Off / Hold Vol-Down-Btn at Turn-On LOGO / see Safe Mode in lower left corner / Power Btn Hold to see /perform Re-Start.
On/Off twice with No Pwd Required.
Presume it's fixed this time.
