My Note 5 wont power on after maintenance reboot

[Android Central Question]

My Note 5 which has had no problems since I've got it. Recently was charging the phone and it tells me that is is overheating and it shuts itself off. My phone wasn't overheating and now it will not power back on. I have tried all options in maintenance mode (normal start, safe mode, reset, turn off) nothing works. I have left it on charge for hours and I still have nothing. The screen is fine or else i wouldn't be able to see what I'm doing. help?
