I didn't get an email either. Does this mean they don't know that I have a Note 7?!
I didn't get it either but I used that link to sign up for them to tell me when the new ones come in.

My tmobile store I just called doesn't have much info yet but recommends I come into the store to return the device and get a new one. They don't recommend I keep the device now and say I should return it and wait for new ones to come out. What do you think?

If you have a back up you should. I don't have a back up yet so I have to wait.

Links are not doing great on the app.

    http://forums.androidcentral.com/e?l...token=CrGmmqS4
You have to put a space in it somewhere like this:

    https:// explore.t-mobile.com/samsung-galaxy-note7-recall

A space means it won't link.

The issue is the Mobile Nations referrer.

The links will still take you to the TMO site though.

Can someone confirm or point to a link that says the timeframe is 2-4 weeks now instead of this coming week?

I was okay with using my Note 2 for 1-2 weeks, but a month might be brutal. This standard charging speed is just so terrible. Since I'm JOD, I think I could go to T-Mo and get a Note 5 or an S7E, but then I'd lose my first priority for the non-exploding Note 7...which I don't really want to do. So I just want to make sure I have all the facts.

I wonder if it will affect anything if I start using another phone temporarily and put the Note 7 away until it's time to replace it?

That on my account it registers that I'm using a different phone and I don't get contacted about a replacement? Lol. Just really paranoid about all this.

I doubt it.. Tmobile doesn't care what phone u use, as long as its 1 sim for that account.. Its all about $$ they wouldn't screw you cause you used a temp phone in the meantime..

I'm going to have to go to them anyway to activate it because my sim card for the Note 7 is too small for that phone. Unless there's some sort of adapter for a nano sim.

All TMO SIM cards have built in adapters. Did you throw all of the rest of the card away?

I could definitely see that being an issue... I'd have CS make notes on your account to make sure there is a record of you currently owning a Note. The system may think you just did the exchange option...

No it's in the Note 7 box somewhere but it's just a cut out

Exactly. Although I'm on an EIP for the Note 7.

Look at it, it is an adapter. There is a small piece you can pop out. The SIM card is an adapter for every size SIM.

I'm about to be on my way up to T-Mobile right now to see if I can get a refund for only my screen protector as it doesn't make sense to use one anymore until I get a new phone...

If I decide to hold onto my Note 7 until a new one comes out do you think they'd still let me swap it out for it?

Yes. You just have to wait until they get the new ones.
