The best part of the whole exchange was that I got to keep all the original accessories (wall charger, cable, adapters etc.) AND he gave me all the new ones. I even kept the old phones stylus as an additional bonus.

.

The clerk at my local store wouldn't allow that. Not that I needed the duplicate stuff because I already have enough type-c cables and chargers, but I was a little surprised because from this board, I'm hearing differently. My old phone went in the new box, with all the new accessories, to be shipped back.

Looks like u got a raw deal...my store didn't check for any of that ....I gave back the box and they gave me a fresh phone not even opened...I had the charger and headphones in my pocket just in case but got to hold on to them ..

Was first in line this morning, sat outside 30 minutes before opening. Some guy that tried to cut in front of me was there for a Note 7 also.
I got the last one.

Silver, note blue, but I dig it. Pelican case and a soft screen protector, looks good. No green battery icon yet.

I feel like used accessories are pretty worthless to both Samsung and the carrier store. There's probably a giant bin of accessories sitting somewhere.

Well went and did my exchange today at the AT&T store. Was quick and easy about 15 mins after waiting for a few mins. Decided to swap my silver for a black one. Liked the look but the fingerprints drove me crazy and I've heard the black is not quite as bad. Currently downloading my backup from my samsung account.

Walked in with the phone only, no stylus, charger, cords, headphones, box.... only the phone.

No questions asked, they swapped me out and I now have a spare oem charger, headphones and stylus

FYI to all those who bought on ATT Next ....they won't refund you the payment you made (assuming you bought the device in August) and your upgrade clock starts from today ....totally scummy move IMO
I just spoke to CS (*611) about the same thing. The rep was adamant that it shouldn't have happened, because it should have been a swap only. She was not happy. In effect, the store sold you a new phone and cancelled your existing contract. Mine did the same thing yesterday, but I didn't realize it until I looked at the plan info today.

So I just got off the phone with a very helpful rep who said she had to make a case # and get a specialist to call me back. They will fix it on their end and I will get the full credit for the two payments I already made along with the 25.00 Samsung credit.

Give them a call, and they will help.

Sprint and Verizon are the only ones selling it right now..... If I'm not mistaken they aren't supposed to be for sale yet.... Only exchanges... Their gonna end up screwing over their customers that want Exchanges by selling those exchange units to new customers...

Thanks
