    So i switched to the s7edge before they said they would pay $100 the day before. What are my chances of redeeming this if i did it a day before?

    Probably still have a good chance...I contacted AT&T and explained it to them and they gave me the $100 because the rep didn't know about the $100 bill credit..I'd contact your carrier and explain it to them

    But i got the phone at best buy. Will that matter?

    Paid $865 for my N7 - let's say I go with the S7 (sigh)...

    Full pop on that says $672 on the VZW website. Less the $100 makes it $572.

    I can then expect a check for $293? (If anyone believes that will happen, I've got 2000ft of ocean front property here in Montana to sell you)

    And there in lies the problem. In addition to having to set up yet another phone (pita, but no big deal), I have to again deal with all the 'but but but' we all know VZW has waiting for us.

    Sure, they were all too happy to take my $865 (got the receipt right here). But just watch how convoluted this return exchange process will be.

    They have refused to refund my Note 7 in two corporates stores. I will be keeping this until it is a mandatory recall and they have no choice. If they think I'm putting a $1000 in a box and hoping for a refund when they receive it, it isn't going to happen.

    I got my phone at Best Buy as well and was still able to get it
    It even says you should get it on Best Buy website

    For AT&T, just contact live support on their website. I contacted them this morning. The CSR had to go confirm about the deal of $100 credit and $25 credit. After that, they said wait about one up to two bill cycle to receive it.

    Yes, I spoke with Samsung and AT&T, and Best Buy. I bought my note out right from Best Buy. Fast forward to this situation, when I spoke to AT&T about the $100 credit, they said they already see the $25 to be applied to my next bill. Best Buy never touched my actual account during the entire process, so I am under the impression that the carrier will automatically recognize that it is on another Samsung device and will automatically credit the $100, or $75.

    Did you get it before 10/13?
    If you look on Samsung website it says if you previously had switched to another Samsung device then you'll get $75 plus the $25 you should have already gotten

    Depending on your carrier, they will issue credit by bill cycles.
