I have the DirectTV ap on my phone and I get Alerts similar to that pictured. I have a Note 4 on Verizon.

Well you put it on there yourself right? Normally if a demo model has it that means it is an AT&T version since they force it on by default.

So this pretty much confirms edged screen. I'm still hoping a flat version will be released as well.

I was with you, but i bought an s7 edge a few weeks ago and like it a lot more than i thought i would. I will go w the edge even if there is a flat version, unless the flat one has some other advantage.

My biggest question at this point is still the battery, will 3600 be enough? I would like to be surprised w a 4000mah battery but im starting to doubt it

    1. The battery size hasn't even been confirmed yet.

    2. This is the largest battery that a Note has ever had either way, so let's hope for the best.

I'm pretty certain that the Note7 will feature a larger battery than the Note5. Pretty sure they're going to do the same thing to the Note7 like what they did to the S7.

Perhaps it will also have the largest battery in a Note device ever? We can only hope, and it seems like it might be going there. Of course, we'll see on August 2nd.

I bet you it'll have a big one... I remember reading one of those tear down sites talking about the S6E+ and why it was not released as a Note. They looked at the internal packaging and came to the conclusion that the addition of the edge panel made it extremely difficult to allow for the S-Pen housing without a) shrinking the battery or b) increasing the device's thickness.

So either this is going to be thin with a POS small battery, or thicker with a battery as big (or bigger) than the current S7E.

    Siding with the latter.

It's possible on the S7e, so I don't see why the same doesn't apply here.
